The Kick-off Meeting of the Interreg project ASCEND will take place in Ostuni on 7 May, hosted by the Provisional Management Consortium of Regional Natural Park Coastal Dunes from Torre Canne to Torre San Leonardo, Lead Partner of the project. 

ASCEND addresses some of the main challenges affecting tourism in the South Adriatic area, such as overtourism, strong seasonality and limited competitiveness of less-known destinations. The project aims to respond to these issues by promoting an innovative approach based on adventure tourism, involving territories in Puglia, Molise, Albania and Montenegro.
