On June 25, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Council Chamber of the Montenero di Bisaccia Municipality (Molise Region, Italy), a HEVON public event will be held with focus on internationalization strategies for the Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) sector.

The event will open with institutional greetings from Simona Contucci, Mayor of Montenero di Bisaccia and President of the Union of Municipalities of Basso Biferno, the HEVON project leading partner. To follow, Mario Ialenti, consultant for the Union of Municipalities, deepening the objectives, activities, and expected results of the cross-border initiative, and Gloria Girardi, expert and consultant in marketing and internationalization, addressing opportunities and commercial approaches for EVOO in Albania and Montenegro. The day will conclude with a guided tour of the evocative underground olive oil mill, followed by a convivial and networking “Convivolio” aperitif.

The initiative is organized in preparation of the B2B meetings with foreign companies involving also a number of selected companies from Molise region and represents an important occasion for local stakeholders to explore the opportunities associated with the HEVON project.

The iproject is led by the Unione dei Comuni del Basso Biferno in partnership with Coop. Kairos and LUM – Libera Università Mediterranea Giuseppe Degennaro (Italy), Coop. Valdanos (Montenegro), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Durrës, and the Municipality of Berat (Albania).
